In this talk I will give a brief review of my recent studies of Spin matrix theory as non-relativistic limit of N=4 SYM. It is also deeply connected to a few condensed matter theory models. Then I will do a simple state accounting in the free limit and show its complex analysis structures. I will explain how the simple state counting can indicate the existence of phase transition.

报告人简介：

Prof Yang Lei is now working as an associate professor in Soochow University. He graduated from Peking University in 2011 with dual degrees in physics and math. He acquired PhD degree in Durham University, and did postdoc researches in Chinese Academy of Science, University of Witwatersrand, Niels Bohr Institute and Kavli Institute of Theoretical Science. His recent research interests include applying combinatorics method to study quantum gravity and supersymmetric field theory, also non-relativistic holography, and black hole physics.
